There is a marcher in the home program for two nights. The key contact for the program is Anne Corbi. She will be at the rally to give instructions on how to find your host.
STAY DAY DAVENPORT EVENT INFORMATION
~ Event Information ~
At 1:00 pm at LeClaire Park there will be lunch for the marchers. Climate March Booth set up prior to this.
Rally Info: (1.5 hours) There are bands and speakers lined up. There will be tabling for groups and community organizations at $150/table. All proceeds go to the Great March for Climate Action.
1:45 – The Davenport Rally gets kicked off with Iowa City Band: “Firesale” at LeClaire Park.
2:05 – Bill Sherwood’s ‘Welcome‘ and announces details of Marcher in the Home and other ‘housekeeping’ details.
2:10 – INVOCATION by Rev. Jay Wolin from the UU Congregation
