Sarah SpainIowa State Coordinator Logistics Coordinator
Sarah has spent the majority of her life as a successful international artist, manager of musicians, and world traveler. The eldest of seven, and raised on a farm in the Mid West, Sarah grew up on the land and witnessed with both parents concerned about climate change from a very young age. “Climate Change was an everyday word at the dinner table!” Her first job was working for the Youth Conservation Corp., which included many trips to the recycling center, cleaning up lakes and rivers, and working with erosion control. Growing up on a farm and all the logistics of keeping that running trained her well for the job. The last 20 years she has spent in California being a mom and working as a substitute teacher for ages K-12. She recently went back to school to get her masters in Art and Science Education.
