Help Build Your Community’s Climate Resiliency!

Dear Friend,
The future is calling each of us to greatness and your direct contributions are, without question, essential to the success of these urgent efforts.  How will you personally answer the call to action as we face our global climate crisis?  What will you do in the months following the People’s Climate March in NYC?  Here is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to amplify and carry forward this charge for citizen awakening & mobilization with the Great March for Climate Action.

Our grassroots community is actively seeking dedicated volunteers in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington DC to collaborate on the completion of our 3,000-mile journey of inspiring and embodying actions confronting climate change.  Some “Climate Summit” cities on our route include, but are not limited to:
and an ENTIRE week of Beyond Extreme Energy Actions in D.C. following our triumphant arrival on November 1st.

The many tasks that require your focused time, energy, and passionate collaboration include:
marcher recruitment of nationwide community delegates to march into DC,
building broadly-represented coalitions of diversity in route cities in advance
bringing local environmental and climate justice issues to the foreground

coordinating events that include short, sweet action-inspiring discussion, demonstrations, symposiums, rallies, etc,
helping our logistics team and other volunteers with route campsite procurement,
seeking out fresh food donations & fundraising,
plugging the march into strategic actions under the guidance of local action groups,
AND other vitally-important roles into which only your heart, mind, and capable hands can breathe life.

There is room for everyone on the March and if you are unable to physically walk, you can still be an active marcher through your donationsvolunteerismrecruitment referrals, and hosting hospitality to weary Climate Marchers.  Take resolute action against climate change, against human & environmental injustice, against extreme energy use & abuse, and be a key player in the solutions that We, the People, must demand of our leaders, communities, friends, families, and each other.

Your organizing contributions will be heard & felt as the cacophony of our gathering footsteps grows ever-louder in the days, months, and years to come as humanity demands an increasingly just and sustainable future.  Your participation — NOW – will benefit our world & very existence for generations to come — join up while we still have time to amplify our voices and boost the movement!  Please send an email with your personal action pledge as an able volunteer organizer to jimmy@climatemarch.org
