Calling all designers! The Great March for Climate Action has teamed with Paste Apparel and Solar JOOS on a fun way to help support the Climate March. We are now accepting designs for a new Climate March t-shirt.
If you are creative and want to enter the contest, please check out this link. The winning design will end up on a Climate March t-shirt that will be available at Paste’s website and during the Climate March itself. The winner will also receive an iPad mini and a Solar JOOS solar charger to go with it!
Entries must be in by February 15 and the winner will be announced February 28. Official rules and entry information can be found right here. Good luck!
We have been fortunate to have the support and endorsement from a variety of wonderful organizations including the NRDC, 350.org, Citizens Climate Lobby, Physicians for Social Responsibility and more. Today, we add the Sierra Club’s Nuclear Free Campaign to the list.
The Nuclear Free Campaign of the Sierra Club released a statement saying they are “excited and proud to endorse The Great March for Climate Action. We have the technology right now to live in a carbon free and nuclear free world. Focusing our climate change efforts on energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy will allow us to live in a clean and safe energy future.”
The best part about receiving endorsements like this is that the Climate March’s message is reaching directly the people who are most willing to share in it. The members of these organizations work hard and care about the climate crisis and they are the ones most willing to join us as the Climate March builds momentum towards March 1. Thanks to all of those who have endorsed our efforts thus far!
