Fun Info
My walking speed is average, I have had zero blisters so far (probably due to using “Hike Goo”) and I have had no injuries. I loved seeing bighorn sheep along old route 62 in California as we marched towards Joshua Tree and I loved the night we spent at The Glass Outhouse near Twenty-nine Palms just before we headed into 100 miles of Mojave Desert. Such crazy, fun art installations! (Helpful tip: Don’t use a glass outhouse at night! Even though the outside is mirrored, you WILL be visible when it is dark!)
- Interests:
Great Apes and African rainforest conservation; whitewater kayaking; cross-country and alpine skiing; Celtic music and poetry; time in forests and other natural environments; silence.

Why Peter wants to be adopted:
If you adopt me I promise to be a wonderful correspondent and to keep you updated on my experiences on and with the March. And really, if this works out, I wouldn’t mind being adopted for longer than the March. Just saying…..
The Great March for Climate Action gives me a pathway for hope and a place to stand with others working hard to protect the living earth. Please support The March by adopting me! I completed the California portion and part of Iowa and I’ll be back as much as I am able but for sure will be with The March from Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. and I need your support.
