Dinner: Dinner in the dining hall runs 6:30-7:30 p.m. There will be a sign-in sheet at the front entrance so that the numbers can be tracked for payment.
Breakfast 8/16: The marchers will depart the Harris Center by 5 a.m. for breakfast at the Presbyterian Church. Catering will deliver 40 eco-friendly sack lunches for their departure at 7am for their 15 mile March that day to Brooklyn City Park.
The Harris center is a building that is part of Grinnell College. There are no showers in the building, but the college will open in the Bear Center across the street on the evening of the 15th and the morning of the 16th.
Showers after 7 p.m. are discouraged, as the entrance to the Bear Center then requires Security. It is expected that those desiring showers will do so before dinner at 6:30 p.m. It is expected that the marchers will have their own towels.
Food: The college dining service will provide dinner and packed lunches. The Presbyterian Church will fix breakfast for everyone in the morning.
