Welcoming Ceremony

What: On Thursday, July 24 at 5pm a welcome ceremony is planned on the North side of the State Capitol. We will gather to welcome the marchers and walk around the capitol in support of action on climate change and to deliver to Governor Heinemann thousands of petitions the marchers have gathered in support of more oil rail and pipeline transparency. Speeches and a corn on the cob grill will follow.

When: Thursday, July 245 pm meet and march around the capitol. 5:30pm roasted corn, speeches and music.
