Albuquerque Concert & Fundraiser
The Climate March band will be putting on a concert at The Source at 1111 Carlisle Blvd from 6 – 10 PM. The event is free and open to the public. Come hear the band sing various music including classic folk songs. Some local bands may play as well.

On May 10 the Marchers arrive in Albuquerque carrying banners of our local environmental organizations! To offer your banner to be carried contact Jimmy@climatemarch.org.

Location: Gather on Central Ave. at Unser Crossing parking area to walk 1½ hours (4.3 miles) to the site of the Climate Rally (see below)

Great March for Climate Action at the Public Market
The Climate March will be at The Public Market, Blacksmith Shop Building from 9AM – 3PM before heading onward to Washington DC the following morning. If you missed the rally, or want to hear more from the marchers, come and visit.

PNM – Rally For Renewables – Hosted by Sierra Club: Rio Grande Chapter
As PNM plans to retire two coal units at the San Juan Generating Station, New Mexicans call on the utility to use renewable energy rather than fossil fuels as replacement power. People concerned about the effects of climate change on New Mexico and all around the world are gathering to call on PNM to ramp up its use of renewable energy.
