There is a marcher in the home program for the 11th and the 12th of August. Marchers will meet their hosts after the evening rally. Margaret Vernon is in charge of this program. Please contact her if you can provide a place for marchers to stay.

The Climate March is coming to First Unitarian Church of Des Moines!

The previously scheduled event at the Des Moines Social Club
will now be held at First Unitarian Church of Des Moines.
6 – 7 pm, meet and greet the Climate Marchers at a potluck (bring food!)
7 – 8 pm, a special program and discussion with speaker David Thoreson,
a sailor of the world seas, photographer, native Iowan, and Climate Marcher,
will present “How Climate Change is Affecting the Oceans.”
