~ Event Information ~
Breakfast is being prepared by Sindra Jensen.
During the afternoon, there will be a farmer’s market in town square for anyone interested.
Dinner is being prepared by Warren Cultural Center (WCC). Reception starts at 5:30 pm and marchers are suggested to arrive at this time to introduce themselves and explain the purpose of the March in an informal setting. Lasagna and salad will be served at $5.00/person on the courthouse lawn for the general public, but the food will be complimentary for the marchers. The tickets for the free food will be given from Stacie Hull, the Program Director for the Chamber. She plans to meet the marchers when they come into town. Her number is 641-743-8444. The organic ground beef for the event was donated for GMCA by farmers Joe/Mary Weisshaar in rural Creston.
There is an evening stage event at 7:00 PM at the Church. It is an event hosted by the city, and the March is welcome to join if they wish. Hopefully, someone from the Wallace Center will speak, but this is not confirmed.
