Why Miriam wants to be adopted:
In addition to the much-needed funds, this project can bring a sense of involvement and commitment to the success of The March. More importantly, if someone is supporting me they are also becoming more connected to the global climate crisis and working towards solutions. As a ‘Spirit Walker’ committed to walking every step from L.A. to D.C., I have put my life on hold and my (not-so-young) body on the line because this is the most important thing to be working on at this time in history.
