Why John wants to be adopted:
If one person adopts me for $500, I will shave my beard. If two people adopt me, I will have a one hour conversation with my spotters each week on strategy for the march and/or the movement. If three people adopt me, I will engage in civil disobedience during the march in the cause of tipping us into real action on climate change. If anyone adopts me for $1,500, I will do all three.
